Coding week 07: GSoC 2022 with OpenMRS
I’m back as usual with the seventh coding week updates. This week went fast and we had the midterm evaluation as well. Before getting into that here’s the previous week’s update to get an idea.
Reporting module bug is fixed
I was able to get merge the fix for the missing dependency issue in the reporting module, which was a blocker for an upcoming week milestone.
Cohort Builder is deployed
I was able to get deploy the cohort builder to the dev3 demo server. Now it’s live at https://dev3.openmrs.org/openmrs/spa/cohort-builder. I created a deploy job in the pipeline to deploy the changes. Currently, it doesn't have a menu item to access it and so it can be accessed using the URL until that is sorted out. Use the below credentials if you want to access it.

Passed the midterm evaluation
Yes, I passed the midterm. It started on 25th July 2022. I demoed the current status of the project to my mentors. I submitted my evaluation form as well. It was a quick evaluation that took like 5–10 minutes.
Here’s the feedback I got from my mentors.
I’m thankful to my mentors Jayasanka Weerasinge and Brandon Istenes for guiding me so far. Hoping to do my best to make this project successful.
Saved Definitions
I started working on saved definitions feature. I divided this into two views saved cohorts and saved queries. Each of them has the ability to delete them and view the results.
This feature is still in progress. As the goal for this week, I will be finishing this feature.
As usual, I presented my work on the weekly O3 call. For more updates, you can follow my OpenMRS talk thread.
With that, the seventh week came to an end. I’m looking forward to finishing work on the next milestone. Stay tuned for the midterm evaluation and week 08 updates. Don’t forget to check out my other articles as well. See you guys at the next one. Until then stay safe! ✌️
