It’s been two months of coding with OpenMRS. Out of the twelve coding weeks, we are done with eight weeks. It’s very exciting to see the project come together week by week. Let’s get onto this week's updates and here’s last week's blog in case you want to catch up.

Now you can see the saved cohorts and queries using the cohort builder. It also has the ability to run them and delete also. Here’s how it looks like,

Mobile responsiveness improved

There were some issues with tablet sizes and small desktops. I was able to improve the lower resolution views as well. Here’s the PR followed by how it looks like on the standard tablet size screens.

Search by drug order

I started working on the search by drug order which allows the user to create cohorts based on the drug usage of the patients.

Composition

I’m also planning to start working on the composition feature as well. To use the composition view, the user needs to have query results from the other queries in your search history. These are the queries that will then be combined to yield new results.

As usual, I presented my work on the weekly O3 call. For more updates, you can follow my OpenMRS talk thread.

With that, this week came to an end. I’m looking forward to finishing work on the next milestone. Stay tuned for the midterm evaluation and week 09 updates. Don’t forget to check out my other articles as well. See you guys at the next one. Until then stay safe! ✌️
